Spring 2024 FORL Used Book and Jewelry Sale
The sale runs from Thursday, April 25th through Sunday, April 28th. There will be a sneak peak sale for just books on Wednesday, April 24th for Ramsey Library cardholders only.
Sale Dates and Times:
*Wednesday, April 24th, 5:30pm-8:00pm. For Ramsey Library cardholders ONLY - must show library card to enter.
Thursday, April 25th 10:00am-7:30pm
Friday, April 26th 10:00am-4:30pm
Saturday, April 27th 10:00am-4:30pm
Sunday, April 28th 12:15pm-2:00pm (bag sale)
Donations Schedule:
Jewelry donations will be accepted between April 4th and April 18th.
Book donations will be accepted between Saturday, April 20th and Wednesday, April 24th
Friends of the Library Tote Bags
Special Friends of the Library tote bags are available for sale at the library. Pick one up at the Circulation Desk for $10. All funds go to supporting library events, programs and services.
About Friends of Ramsey Library (FORL)
The Ramsey Library Trustees and Borough officials work tirelessly to support the library. FORL members are partners in the process. We believe in the importance of the library to our community, enabling us to work together for the library's future.
FORL contributions help the library staff provide programs for all ages in a warm, inviting space. This is all in part from your contributions to the FORL. You, your family, and neighbors benefit directly from your FORL gifts.
Follow the library and FORL activities on the library's website, e-newsletter, Facebook page, program calendar at the library, local newspaper, Burbio, and Ramsey Journal. Remember to watch for upcoming announcements on the digital sign outside the library.
What Does FORL do?
FORL donations and members work to fund programs, collections and services provided by the Ramsey Free Public Library to the Ramsey community. Some example of what FORL has helped to fund:
Fully fund the annual Summer Reading Program and Summer Events for all ages
Sponsor the Museum Pass Program - introduced in 2017
Sponsor the Sunday Concert Series and other events throughout the year
Sponsor the Krayon Kiosk and iPad education system - introduced in the fall of 2017
Sponsor the Musical Munchkins Program
Assist in sponsoring preschool touch screen AWE computers
Host book and jewelry sales twice a year
Donate books to various organizations and charities
Donate to FORL
Consider donating to FORL to help fund library services, collections and programs. Donations are accepted via Paypal.
Become a Member
Volunteers are needed throughout the year to help with FORL activities, programs, and special events. FORL help with special events at the library, run the book and jewelry sales, and participate in other activities, fundraising and planning. We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings where we discuss new ideas and programs that the FORL might offer to the library.

Monthly Meetings - Every 1st Monday of the Month
FORL meetings are now back in person at the library. Meetings take place the 1st Monday of everything month at 11:00am in the library’s community room. Masks are currently required in all areas of the library, including at FORL meetings, regardless of vaccine status. Here is the schedule of upcoming 2023 meetings:
